Ajman food laboratories were established in 1995 to strengthen the control and ensure the quality and safety of food through laboratory analysis and conformity of the results with specification of local, Regional and Global standard, which raise the quality of the local industry and help these products to be in global competition. In 2006 environment laboratory was opened to include oversight of all products and materials related to the environment.
The food laboratories analyze different specimens and Providing microbiological, chemical, and physical testing service for the food, environmental materials and water which compliance with approved standards and specifications.
Ajman food and Environment laboratories have been officially accredited by the German Accreditation System for Testing Laboratories (DAP) in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005 since 2009.
