Masfoot Castle

Masfoot Castle is located on a mountain top in Masfoot region, and it borders the region from the northern side. It is an old castle that was built by the late Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Muaimi Governer of Ajman in 1965.
This castle was considered as a protection for the region against the enemies and highway gangsters who were traveling to The Sultanate of Oman (Al-Batinah). This castle indicates the defending techniques that were used in this region in the past.


 

Bin Sultan Mosque


An old mosque that was built in 1815 by the late Sultan Bin Saeed, and is located in 'Dhofdaa' in Masfoot region. This mosque is considered as one of the oldest mosques in the region. It was built of gypsum, clay and fronds and was used by the inhabitants for praying.

 

Masfoot Entrance


An old entrance that was built by the late Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi Governor of Ajman in 1961. It is the main entrance for the inhabitants and visitors of the region and was the main passage for the merchants who were coming to the region.
