Service Description
This certificate is issued for the authorities interested in destroying foodstuffs for the following reasons:

1. Inedible for human consumption
2. Expired foodstuffs
3. The company’s interest in destroying foodstuffs rejected by the Food Control Section for violating the conditions and laws for economic reasons

Application procedures

• A request to be submitted by the concerned authorities interested in foodstuff or building demolition.
• A report to be submitted to the Health Department by the inspector confirming the inedibility of the foodstuff to the human consumption.
• An invoice of the goods value and its quantity should be attached with the application.
• The fees are determined as per the value of the goods.
• Paying the fees at Municipality treasury.
• Setting a date for foodstuff demolition (usually within 24 hours) on the account of the owner.
• A committee to be arranged to supervise the demolition of food process.
