Service description

• This service is provided by health department regarding the foodstuff items to be re-exported for non-compliance with any of the Health card items though proved valid in the laboratory.
• The procedures of re-exporting shall be taken after the issue of the decision of Food Safety Local Committee.
• An undertaking shall be given not dispose of the quantity until it is re-exported.

The place for submitting the application
Department: Public Health department
Section : Food control section
Fees : Insurance fees amounting to AED 5000 shall be paid.

Procedures of application

• The owner of the cargo shall be referred to the Public health department.
• Insurance fees shall be paid to the treasury of the municipality.
• The receipt should be kept until the exit of the merchandise is proved.
• A letter should be sent to the finance department with the supporting documents for reinsurance after collecting the prescribed fees.
