Service description

• This kind of service is requested in case of importing foodstuff from abroad.
• The imported quantity shall be withheld until a sample is taken by nutrition inspectors and is proved good for human consumption.

Department: Public Health department
Section : Food control section
Fees : Included in the analysis fees collected by the Central laboratory Department.

Procedures of application

• Informing the health department about the arrival of foodstuff item.
• The random samples are withdrawn by inspectors of nutrition and delivered to the central laboratory.
• Prescribed fees are paid according to the bylaws of the central laboratory
• The final clearance is issued according to the results of the central laboratory.
