Service description

• It is compulsory to provide a health or laboratory certificate from the country of origin with the cargo.
• Documents shall be examined to check conformity with the cargo before clearance.
• In case the food Stuff is valid, the deposit amount for providing the health or laboratory certificate shall be collected before it is cleared.

Department: Public Health department
Section : Food control section
Fees : The amount of AED 1000 shall be paid as a deposit

Procedures of application

• The procedures of the cargo shall be referred to the Public health department
• The Prescribed Deposit amount shall be paid to the treasury of the municipality.
• The received cargo shall be apparently examined before the laboratory analysis.
• The cargo shall be cleared in case of compliance with the health conditions and the laboratory proved its validity
